Cruiser Boat Vacations
Posted in: Boat Rentals
Ever driven or passed by the marina wondering what it would be like sailing on a cruiser boat? Well, that dream can become a reality by simply renting one of them.
Boat cruisers come in many sizes. These are all equipped with modern facilities such as spacious saloons, cabins with privacy, hot and cold showers, toilets and a fully equipped galley.
Some other amenities that can be found on some vessels are opening sun roofs and large decks good for those who want to go sunbathing and air conditioning for those who don’t want to stay outdoors.
The ship can have a trained crew on board as part of the package if the person who wants to rent isn't a certified sailor. Those who wish to pilot the steering can do this either indoors or outdoors since there are controls in both stations.
Is renting a boat expensive? When the tourist is asking the owner, this might be the first impression but it isn't. This is because the ship comes with everything needed for a nice voyage at sea and if one divides this with the number of guests going, this is just about right.
How long can the cruiser be rented? Many customers usually get them for one to two weeks. Some clients also spend these vacations in 10 or 11 day periods since those on board have to report back to work or go to school.
Can an inexperienced sailor captain the boat? The answer is yes. This is because the controls are easy to learn so after an orientation, the controls are given to the customer. A temporary sailing permit will be issued for the duration of the trip.
When a cruiser boat is chartered, the port of departure and arrival is written down. A detailed map is given so that the boating enthusiast doesn't get lost. The ship is also tracked using GPS and comes with a handheld radio if there are any problems during the trip.
Does the rent come with insurance? Yes, this is part of the package. However, the coverage is only good for the amount of the security deposit so it will be a good idea to sign a waiver scheme in case something unexpected happens.
Renting a cruiser boat is simple. The ideal boat can be chosen from the web then the person can simply email, telephone or fax one of these offices which will guide the customer through the entire process.
